Can we get some sort of clarification on the administrations policies towards student twitters? Using ‘rape’ in a joking context isn’t the best idea in the world, but its far from outside the twitter norm.

I’d love a clarification on which tweets by whom are subject to ‘administrative review’. Is it because of the rape reference? Is it because it was anonymous? Should students make their twitters private? Would that even help?

Typical feminist pointing out very real problems that need to be addressed.

I would first like to make clear that anything that makes someone uncomfortable does so for a reason, and so claiming things were “blown way out proportion” suggests that those very real people who feel very real emotions are not worth the effort to make comfortable.

Secondly, anyone who says that feminist do not have a sense of humor have obviously not met very many because all the feminist I know are hilarious.

Finally, I agree with whoever NC is because yes “taking” is a verb so the adverb “seriously” should be used.

Blown way out of proportion…there are offensive handles like these all over social media outlets. A request for moderation seems about the only thing appropriate.
