Students Perform for Family and Friends at Collage Concert

Each year Elon welcomes many families to campus on family weekend. This year more than 1,000 families registered for the event.

Students and their visiting family members/friends attended a variety of events over the weekend. One of the most popular events included Collage Concert, a musical performance hosted by Performing Arts students. Not only did students perform at the event, so did faculty members in the Performing Arts Department. In Whitley Auditorium, faculty in the Performing Arts department had a mixture of vocal, piano and percussion performances, along with many other types of musical performances.

Other events that took place over Family Weekend during the weekend include the football game Saturday afternoon and coffee at Leo Lambert’s home on Sunday morning. Although some events required tickets for admission and sold out quickly, Elon provided plenty of other events that were attended by families and students.
