Man Arrested For Trespassing on Campus

A 41-year-old Spring Lake man was arrested for trespassing on Elon University’s campus late at night on Sept. 11.

According to the police report, Jerry Grier Jr., 41, was spotted in the Station at Mill Point by an Elon student and the Elon Campus Police were called. Elon Campus Police arrested Grier in the parking lot of the Partners Place Apartments at 11:33 p.m. and charged with 2nd degree trespassing.

This is the second time Grier Jr. was arrested for trespassing on Elon’s campus.

Grier Jr. was transported to Alamance County Jail and released on $800 bond.

His first court date is on Nov. 21.
