Spring semester is almost halfway over, and summer is coming sooner than we think. For many Elon students, that means going to work in the real world is just beyond the horizon. To help you find that perfect internship or job, the Student Professional Development Center is hosting its annual Spring Job and Internship Expo this Thursday. The event will be held from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. in Alumni Gym.

If you plan on attending the expo here are some pro tips to maximize your experience:

  • Download the Elon Expo app
  • Dress in business professional attire
  • Bring several printed copies of your resume
  • Be prepared to talk about yourself
  • Research companies of interest beforehand

The expo allows students to network with a variety of employers, from large international corporations to small local non-profits. Currently there are 93 recruiters registered. You can view the event details and complete list of companies here, on the Elon Job Network, or if you download the Elon Expo app.
For more help on how to get hired, stop by the SPDC in Moseley or call 336-278-6538 to make an appointment.
