ELN celebrates National Pizza Day with Pandora’s Pies chef

Pandora’s Pies is an Elon favorite where many students dine to eat delicious pizza. In celebration of National Pizza Day, Feb. 9, I made pizza with one of Pandora’s main chefs. Chef Atoru is from Italy and started making pizza when he was 15 years old.

Pandora’s sources all of its ingredients locally from North Carolina farms and traders. I learned how to make the restaurant’s classic margarita pizza, as well as a gluten-free, vegan version with some yummy toppings.

Although ELN couldn’t get the secret Pandora’s recipe, here’s a recipe to try at home.
